Airwatergreen and the Dehumidifiaction Industry

Airwatergreen offers clients in need of humidity treatment the possibility to reduce their costs for dehumidification. Current market leading products are based on either Sorption technology or Heat Pump technology. Both are electric, and both were developed in a world where energy was planty and cheap. So far the dehumidification industry has failed to realize they need to adapt to a changing market. This has given Airwatergreen an important head start and momentum.

 

Electricity Independence

Airwatergreen's dehumidification products and solutions are largely driven by heat instead of electricity. The ability to use heat as energy source gives the products significant cost reductions since heat is much cheaper than electricity. If waste heat is available, as for example on a ship or in a factory, the dehumidification system's operating costs will be near zero.

If waste heat is not available, solar heat collectors can be installed on the roof of the facility, reducing energy costs to near zero. Solar heat collectors have a much higher efficiency that photovoltaic solar cells and hence reaches an overall cost efficiency Sorption and Heat Pump products will never reach.
