Airwaterdry

Overview

Airwaterdry is a new dehumidification system for removing humidity from air. It produces dry air and liquid water, that is easily discarded in the nearest water drainage. With Airwaterdry, there is no need to remove air from the room and import new outdoor air, which is the case with sorption products. This saves significant costs for the user.

Airwaterdry is based on Airwatergreen's unique CMCR technology that needs only heat to run, not electricity. The benefit of using heat instead of electricity is that heat is significantly cheaper than electricity. If waste heat is accessible, the energy cost will be zero. Since electricity easily can be turned into heat, Airwaterdry is able to switch freely between heat or electricity depending on the application.

In addition, CMCR's energy efficiency is insensitive to temperature changes. Since competing technologies lose efficiency with decreasing temperature, Airwaterdry's superiority over competing dehumidification products increases when temperature drops. In 8°C Airwaterdry consumes only 50% less energy than the best competing product, and then we have not included the hidden cost of exporting indoor air.

Main Advantages

  • Flexible - Can use both heat and electricity
  • Very low energy costs
  • No need to discard indoor air outdoors, thereby preventing wasting of energy
  • Easy to handle - Produces liquid water as by-product which is easily discarded in the nearest drainage
  • Market's most energy efficient product in temperatures below 15 °C
  • World's only condensing technology that is able to run below 0 °C

Status

Live test studies are currently being conducted on various customer locations.
